HAMMONTON -- The leader of an area chapter of the Ku Klux Klan has canceled a planned May 12 demonstration and is calling for the dissolution of the chapter. / Joseph V. Bednarsky Jr. on Friday acknowledged the Ku Klux Klan is a hate group and asked for forgiveness from residents and town officials."
