So... what kind of day will it be today, when not one but BOTH of my French presses failed spectacularly this morning in precisely the same way? The screen/spring mechanism detached from the plunger in mid-plunge. (One of them was actually immediately reparable and I can has coffee now; the other appears to be truly broken.)
