N— stayed for an all-nighter with P— and me at Chisanbop (about a 19-hour day to my 17), propping our prop up slowly and by degreen, till done or scant of dawn. It's been great working with him—he's picked up a lot of know-how pretty quickly.
It's been less great breathing deep and sitting and standing. But breathe and sit and stand in rude postures we must betimes; samewise grief and spit and sand in rude fissures must we have. Them's the rules, anyway.
We taxied home from Friendship Heights 6:something. A good day's and night's work—my first in years! Ima play these sly Rameau'vertures again from boo and dig my futon passing well.
