Just a brief note to say...

I are alive and tangoing with a 418-legged proposal. All is well, relatively speaking. (I am, for example, not a Haitian; however, I am an American.) My apartment teems with ex-Cheeselords and gas ranges. Today is Day Four without a cigarette. This weekend promises fun in exactly the measure that I can tear myself away from proposaling. I'm hoping that's 'quite a lot' but we'll see.
