This is virally spread from
reb2, whose icon selections I explain below the cut. I may not have done this were it not for the phrase "never-ending cycle of icon squee".
The LJ Icon meme rules:
1. Reply to this post, and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon squee. Woo.

Butt |
This picture of me and my butt was taken, if I don't me trick, in the spring of 2003 by ![]() |
Dark Crystal |
I took this photo at Busch Gardens Tampa February 7, 2005. This was in an enclosed bird garden, and this was the oddest looking bird I saw all day. It reminded me of the Muppet birds from The Dark Crystal. I don't have a particularly reason to use this icon, but when it was new it was briefly my default. |
Spiderman |
In mid-July 2005 I drove to Montréal on a whim from Granville, Vermont, to spend one night between the "Gourmet Camping" event I attend every year (or try to) and the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. I had so much fun in Montréal that I decided to go back for their pride fest. I took this pic at the Adonis club on rue Ste. Cathérine on July 31, 2005. The Spiderman in question is totally nude; his entire costume is painted on his body. On the rare occasion when a post or comment touches on comic book matters, body painting, or Montréal, I employ this icon. |
FSM |
The Flying Spaghetti Monster created the universe, and He can change your life if you only believe in Him. Spaghettus vobiscum. Obviously this icon is used for posts about religion, specifically how silly is the belief that one knows there is a deity and what that deity thinks about things. It is one of several religion-critical icons I have. |
Naked Baby |
Ah, naked baby. I can't remember the year, but I'm thinking it must have been 2003 or so, when a bunch of us maggotts descended upon ![]() ![]() This icon is mostly for in-jokes with friends. |
