Cary Grant started in show biz as a stage tumbler; and through his entire life, though an inevitable and not entirely welcome sheen of suavity attached to him like a fake tan, the bestest most wonderfulest thing about Cary Grant was that he was never too proud to clown when he needed to.
The proposal that ate my life (2.5 hours of sleep last night) was supposed to get done today, but it looks really iffy. The best I can hope for now is to get it to a point where only tinylittlepicayune changes are needed, stuff I can do over the weekend from anywhere—like, say, Boystown, Chicago—and my support peeps can produce on Sunday and deliver on Monday. Crossing fingers, toes, and eyes.
