My weekend wrap-up...
May. 26th, 2009 02:19 pm...well, frankly, Philip, is a tangle. I am unfortunately swamped at work in preparation for a too-large, too-long meeting I'm hosting tomorrow at Chisanbop, where we will spend hours debating and discussing an opportunity with the federal government that by all external signs is every bit as likely to be real as Noah's Ark. So sorry. I will get to this when I can; there are also some 1,200 photos to sort through, clean up, and post (well, the post-able ones will be significantly fewer than 1,200). Maybe sometime this weekend I'll get to last weekend.
Till then, trust me: it was an adventure. Remember Hurricane Gustav chasing Maestro and me (and plenty other folks) out of Nwalins last summer? Well, I don't know for sure the name of the man who tried to burn down the Old Chicago Inn and was rewarded for it by being given OUR room... but his name HAD to have begun with an 'h'...
