This was the kind of morning where the first thing you read on email is that the proposal you have spent the last three work days feverishly writing and editing and cobbling together has been canceled because the partnering team has fallen apart.

oh AND

...where the second thing you read on email is an Excel spreadsheet attachment attributing ALL the winning proposals you've managed in 2007 to other employees and listing your name next to ONLY those proposals that have lost.
