wow... maybe i'm a little behind the times, or the tenor of the times, or the countertenor of the times, or the double-ATTB chorus of the times, but since when is "harassment" de facto illegal?  i mean, wouldn't it be loverly oh sure it would if every neighbor got along swimmingly with every other neighbor, but are we really trying to take away every citizen's right to belittle and beleaguer the jerk who stinks up the neighborhood every trashday with mounds of unsecured cuttlefish grue? 

this Carasia person is clearly a modern-day Elmira Gulch, showing up with a basket to carry her young neighbor's beloved pet to its destruction.  where would society be if Auntie Em had been hauled off to the hoosegow for raising her voice to Gulch and implying that certain impolite, if tacit, epithets may apply in reference to her neighborly skills?  in the garbage, i say, right along with the cuttlefish.

BTW, i am tangentially indignant that "indignant" is not a standard "mood" tag.
