fr_defenestratoYes, the misanthropy has bubbled angrily to the surface today... probably the result of the Reuters poll finding vastly more Americans believe in angels and miracles and heaven and hell than in basic, basically incontrovertible science. What's the point of living in a world so completely dominated by idiots?
As of right now, no hope is left to you,
You breath-takingly stupid human race:
With every waking action you disgrace
Your protozoan past; had they a clue
What ghastly shapes they would evolve into,
They would have left this sphere without a trace
And Earth like Mars would be a barren place—
And vastly better off for all that, too.
Would that you find a method to erase
Your petty, awful selves; do not eschew
That which the worst of you, in any case,
Have threatened for six decades: have a nu-
Clear eschaton, or engineer a flu
To wipe your rank lot from this planet's face.
