zedinbed defriended me minutes after he friended me, citing my username as too disgusting even to think about. While that seemed a little silly to me, it set me on a path of cogitation that resulted in this evening's portentous action.
I bought the rename token a while back and then never used it... I put out a poll at the time and "lord_gourd" was by far the most popular possibility. But SOOOO bland. I'm not even "Lord Gourd" to the Cheese Lords anymore; I'm Lord Haggis McBrylcreem. Unfortunately, had I the liberty to so chuse, that would have been my new name; but alack, LJ usernames are limited to 15 characters. So I went back and looked at the survey and found one that I had forgotten I had even suggested. One person,aofe (to whom thanks), voted for this name. I am confident he recognized it as a sometime pseudonym of Aleister Crowley. Anyway, I have made my choice. Vivat rex.
