Sonnet from the Porch de Guise

...Of the house and lineage of David Koresh

My rabbi holds me hostage in a cave,
Demanding certain halakhic reform
Such as permitting Hasidim to shave
And heightening mechitzot to thrice the norm.
With me, eleven others represent
The sons of Yisra'el—though it's not clear
Which one is Yosef, whom Adonai sent
His brightest star and who is his most dear—
And our own rosh yeshiva will not say,
Nor will he deign to tell us who and where
Reside the Great Sanhedrin of today
(To whose supreme existence he does swear).
He feeds and tends us well; we're doing fine,
So rescue on mashiah's behalf, not mine.

Ok, don't ask me where the sheol that came from.
