Oh yay.

I'm not nearly so universal or strident in my hatred of humanity as my last sonnet suggests. Or, rather, my hatred/disgust/distaste is mediated by a number of things that keep me sane. Here are a few, not in any special order:

1. "Earn more sessions by sleeving."
2. The existence of Alex Baresi and his willingness to do this in public.
3. My vastly intelligent, big-hearted, talented, wonderful, wysiwyg friends.
4. THIS version of "Paranoimia" by The Art of Noise from In Visible Silence (I finally found it!)... and also "Camilla" and everything else on that same album. I'm honestly a trifle unsure how I survived the past 7 or so years without having replaced this CD once Jim Weaver stole it, and all the rest of my CDs, from me.
5. "You're dirtsome loath."
6. Oban and close kith and kin.
7. Penn, Teller, and Eddie Izzard.
8. Antonia Rey's performance in Hair. Also Charlotte Rae's.
9. My kitties.
10. Johannes Brahms's violin sonatas.
